This application named ‘Mamoru Pack; My Ready to Go Backpack’ has been developed for children on the autism spectrum, which helps them not only get aware of themselves and share what they are with others but also get the necessary knowledge for the disaster preparedness and in time of the disaster. The preparedness education should begin from the understanding of the self because it will be the base of protecting the self.
Five cards popping out of pockets and the upper cover of the backpack show the necessary categories on what children on the autism spectrum need in times of disasters. According to them, you can customize the contents, recognize what each child is and share them with family members and teachers.
You can also customize the colors of the pockets, the backpack and the background. You can put your name on the backpack, too.
You can change the contents and save the records by touching and typing. So you can share the history of your development. As the numbers of cards can be increased, you can create your own card on which you record your particular data. You can put your favorite photoes and handwritten documents on the icon of each card.
